what shocks to get for 5/7 drop?

Im need to know what shocks to run on a 5/7 or 6/8 drop. This is my first OBS so any suggestions will be thankful.

get ones that are 5" shorter for the front and 7" shorter for the rear.

OR post this question in the lowered suspension sections as those people will probably have more info than I do.

Honestly the lowered croud simply would know better.
