I had a new windscreen fitted this week and since it's winter down here we had torrential rain that night and the passenger side floor was soaked in the morning. Turns out the windscreen installer had knelt on that panel in the cowl and the old sealant had cracked due to hardening over the last 34 years and the water was tracking in through there. I resealed it and has been dry ever since. It's always the stuff that other people do that lets you down so I try to do as much myself as I can.
