I want to drop the vortec V8 roller cam 350 in my Blazer, but, keep the TBI intake, ignition, ect etc etc...

just looking for a little more power from a better built engine. not looking for a whole ECU wire & tune headache.

the long blocks are geographically the exact same, right?
the intake manifold, motor mounts, and sensors will all bolt on without any issues?

pull the timing cover off and swap that, change distributors buy a carb intake from jegs and a carb-tbi adapter, put the TBI waterpump and accesories on it, actually the vortec accesories minus waterpump might work. motor mounts are the same, use your TBI sensors, INtake will have to be aftermarket, i used a jegs one, it was a very fair price. youll need or benefit from a tune, while your in there id rebuild it, new bearings, gaskets, cam etc while you have it out but thats just me.

if your not looking for a tuning headache dont do it, any engine upgrades need a tune end of story. to do things properly you cant just half ass it and not tune it once swapping to a different cam, intake and heads.
