Transmission filter location?

Stupid question but I have a 1993 Chevy 1500 with a 4l60e. I just replaced the flywheel and figured I mine as well change the filter and fluid also. Where is my filter located? I pulled the pan down and I don't see one anywhere. The one they gave me is pretty big looks just like the one on my 700r4 so I know I would see it. Thanks.

should be on the bottom of the transmission once you remove the pan. some are plastic and others have a metal bottom
