Aaah... Yup, the lid on the console I got was pretty much in the same shape.. Luckily the console in the other Escalade was in great shape so I snagged it.

I did, but unfortunately the fuel gauge on this cluster won't work in 99+ So I took them out and they're sitting in my garage. I need to clean em up and sell them.

I know, I wish it would work in mine.

I found this when I was trying to figure it out:
Starting in 1998 gas senders were not directly connected to gauge anymore. The sender goes to the PCM and is processed there before going back to the gauge cluster.

I put a newer cluster in and it works fine.
