did someone already lift the rear of my truck?

Stupid Lift Question: Is this a bar that was welded in to lift the rear or is this stock? wondering because i just bought the 4 inch spindle lift and will be putting it in this weekend...and it seems higher in the rear just a touch higher than most stock trucks.

Is there a way to measure a set of spindles that I picked up before I install them to confirm if they are 3in or 4in? Also for the coils?

Scratch the question bout the spindles. I measured from the shaft to the top where the ball joint goes. On the OE one it's about 7in and on the lift ones about 10in. So ya they are three inch lift spindles.

I installed 2" lift blocks on the rear and cranked the TB om a 2dr hoe. Would it be a good idea to add axle shims to the rear? Not sure if I am still safe with my pinion angle with the 2" blocks.

Are there any negative side effects to adding axle shims?

Has anyone ever changed c/v shafts on a 1500 silverado without seperating ball joints?
