Tbi to tpi is it worth my time.

Didn't know where to put this question so I think it will work here. Any ways I'm wondering about tune port swapping my truck if it would be easier than ls swapping my truck. Manly I'm wondering about wiring how hard would it be I have a Camaro harness for a tune port would it just be a couple snips and soldering the plugs onto my 95 truck harness. And tuning the computer or would it be more involved. Thanks

If it's for your 95, I believe that can support multiport. . . but it's not plug and play. Doable, sure. Worth the effort? No IMO. TPI only makes good midrange torque, low end isn't great. Top end sucks. Easier than an LS swap with none of the payout. Wanna take the easy way out? Put a good top end on your current motor and tune that.

I like the TPI/turbo combo. Stoch Vortec cam and 5-6 psi will pull strong. I believe your computer would lose it's tiny little mind under boost though.

I'm using a Fox Body Mustang computer for Frank's TPI swap.
