Sub box help

Hey all, Ive got a sub laying around, and was wanting to put it in my truck, however I have into a small issue. Mounting depth on the sub is 6.6", Ive found that all boxes that go under the xcab seat have a smaller mounting depth than that. Has anyone built their own box with a sub this deep? Its a 12" sub, doesnt really matter to me how I mount it, forward or downward, as long as I can build something where the rear seat isnt all messed up from the box being too high.

has anyone build a box for a sub like this before, or any hints or suggestions?

I found one that's close.
I have a box that is similar to the one in the link with a pioneer 12" sub. The sub had a plastic cover over the magnet that made it too deep to fit the box.
I got lucky. The plastic cover was just decorative. After I removed the plastic, the sub fit perfect.
