Speedo not working after nv4500 swap

I have a 1989 chevy k1500 and I swapped In a nv4500 to replace my 700r4, and got everything working and put back together but after driving it my speedo doesn't work and it didn't work on the first test I bought a new speedo sensor and put it in but it still doesn't work and it's throwing me for a loop. Yes i did keep use my original tcase so it does have the sensor that threads in to the side of the tail shaft housing. Any help would be nice thank you.

Check for damaged wiring.
if the transfer case is the same one as before the swap, it won't know you changer the trans.
You just need to look at what changed during the swap.
