On start up I get a very slight ticking noise coming out of the AC pump area( I think).
AC never used. Dumb question. Is there anything in there that I could change(bearing) without having to discharge the AC completely?
The noise goes away after warmup, in a few minutes.
Suggestions please.

Yes, you can swap the clutch and bearing without opening the system. Post #1 explains what needs to be done.

Spend more time and enthusiasm tracking down the actual source of the noise. "AC pump area" isn't very specific.

First of all I didn’t get much closer into AC Compressor area because it was running, only reason I’m suggesting AC Compressor area is because that where is sounds like it is coming from. Noises can be deceiving. What’s the best way to pinpoint the noise? I was going to get a long screw driver and listen for noise. Any better solutions?
