Funny you mentioned ** makes for a better job** because those were the exact words of choice that my painter used .
$2500 isn't much for a repaint on a truck these days and I honestly didn't expect it to turn out as well as it did.

You are right on the $2500. Materials would not be much less in most cases. I have a buddy that owns a restoration shop, he does mostly muscle cars but charges $8000-$9000 for a complete color change. Depending on how much he has to take apart.
