I don't know if the 4L80s have the wiring harness issues that 4L60s have, but if so you'll probably want to replace the wiring harness now.

Good call all yall! Anyone have a link to a seal kit for cheap? Trying to find this stuff by individual seal on rockauto is maddening.

Don't buy from Rock.

Stop by your local Trans shop, bring a twelve-pack of libation. Worked for me.

Good call. Yes, this is somewhat of an issue based on what read here as well on the 80e.

Happened to me, and my dad had one fail and put the truck in limp mode.

Don't have a local trans shop, unfortunately. So parts store, Amazon, rock auto, etc. Sucks, but it is what it is.
Any links? Pretty please?
