Reverse light for automatic to manual transmission 1990

Does anyone know the best way to hook up the rear tail lights for a 1990? I put in an NV3500 from another 1990 and took out the automatic.

Tough crowd...either I stumped you or no one really knows the answer.

why not put a rocker or toggle switch and hook it to the wire going to the reverse wire.
