Rear diff hose?

On my 95 Tahoe I got a hose going from the back of the top side off the diff goes out the frame on the driver side somewhere, that's a vent hose?

Yup. one is a vent. The other that hooks to the metal line is the rear brake line.

For the vent hose it matter what kind of hose you replace it with?

Not really close to the same diameter would be best

I forget if its 5/16 or 3/8 but a piece of fuel line works perfectly.
