Life is too short for "light" beer. Makes a great "tranny" fluid, though.

I seem to remember a recommendation to use ATF in certain manual transmissions to make (allow?) them to shift easier in cold weather.

I can't remember which friend's vehicle once had this issue, but that was the solution promoted by... the dealer, I would guess. I'm thinking it was a Corvette, maybe a 2002 Z06 a friend had, but I'm probably wrong.

Yes, DexIII is the factory fill. (Do not put DexVI in it.)
And just like that we're back to three different guys talking about the proper lube for a tranny!

Coffee: French press with dark roast. An electric kettle with temp control is key for a good cup of coffee. 1 raw cane sugar, splash of milk.
Chili: gotta have beans. And potatoes.
Beer: Coors banquet
Trans fluid: Factory fill, never change

Did I cover all my bases?

If you're not careful, that tranny might start stealing some of your bases...

Potatoes? WTF?

My mom tried to get into the world of competitive chili cook-offs. Weird, but true. Anyways, here in TX, beans are against the rules.
