Well just a small update to this old thread, new engine will finally be here on Tuesday, and I found some old pics of the truck from when I started the conversion.

Well I have decided, to go ahead and make so more mods, and then go ahead and put the whole truck together and drive it primered, I am tired of waiting to be able to afford to paint the whole truck. So anyway I am going to pull the cab back off the frame, and plate the entire frame front to back and build new custom crossmembers all the way, and I am also going to cut out all the old frame notches and braces and make it all really nice and then repaint the frame, then install new engine and trans, and put the whole thing together and drive it!
