outside temp display

I installed an overhead console from a blazer and a rearview mirror with comp/temp from an avalanche. The temp was reading accurately for quite a while but now it reads about 20 degrees cooler than it actually is outside. I have tried 3 different temp sensors and it is still the same. Does anyone have any tips?

Did you check the wiring? Did you create a harness and crimp the wires?

I have the stock harness and i just used butt connectors to add wiring
