NV3500/NP208 question

I know the transfer case being in neutral would cause the truck not to move but, would it allow the truck to stay running in gear without the clutch pushed in?
Trying to figure something out from a previous thread

Yes. Since the tcase is in neutral, nothing is being put through to either driveshaft.
