Hey guys, I recently finished up my 5.3 swap. When I did the swap I also put in a rebuilt NV3500 due to a bad input bearing in my old one. Everything in the swap works right, trans shifts well, my only issue is that when I get to higher RPM it makes a ringing noise. Sounds like an old telephone ring.

I personally don't think it's in the transmission. I have a feeling its the throwout bearing that just barely touches the clutch but maybe I am completely wrong. Just looking for suggestions..

I did a lot of research before the swap and found multiple threads on which bearings to use. I used a 1377c throw out bearing which was significantly shorter than the old SBC one. I'd really rather not take it apart again but obviously I will if I have to. I just don't want to take it apart for no reason.
