Hi,
I'm wondering what to do to get that mean shovely (for a lack of better words) V8 sound in my 95' K1500 350 SB.
The current setup is:
-(Open) Edelbrock air cleaner
-Flowtech shorty headers
-standard 2 in 1 exhaust pipe into cat (aftermarket)
-Cherrybomb straight pipe
Since the cherry bomb was installed it got a little louder and it adds some bass but its still quite far from what I want. It sounds just too healthy, does not have that rather uncontrolled V8 sound.
Its a 5 gear manual if that does anything of importance to the sound...
Is the engine just too new being a 95?
I did however see another gmt400 passing by which did indeed sound a lot more like I want mine...
Could the fact that the engine is running below its temp range (see other thread thermostat issues) also be contributing to this?
Any ideas or samples of your rides would be highly appreciated.
