GMT400 Forever!
The headlight switch being lighted with key on actually changed in either 98 or 99... I know for sure in the GMT400 Escalade, the headlight switch backlight came on only when you turned on the park lights, like the rest of the dash lights. But on my 97, it does stay on as long as the key is in Run.
