Newbie needs help!

Okay i need help, i have a 1989 chevy and i bought an HID kit with the bulb size 9006 i think. One of my headlights was out from the drivers side so i just figured id install the HIDs since there plug n play. when i installed them they didnt turn on and when i put the stock bulbs they didnt turn on either, need help!

The HID's would require a ballast to work. If you bought them as a PnP kit they should be with them.
As for your stock lamps not working after you tried the HID's...Check your fuses...it likely blew it if you tried the HID's without a ballast.

ballast are the boxes right? i have them also. for some reason when i hooked them up they didnt light up at all

reverse the truck side headlight plug(unplug from ballast and turn it 180 and plug it in light should come on)
