Great forum lot of helpful threads.
Recently bought 89 Chevy 3500 454 TH400
New Mexico truck runs and drives pretty good for 34 years old but has some issues just finish chasing old brittle wires and previous owners creative repair with speaker wire and lamp cords. Now to sort out my oil leaks.

Just wondering i dont think thats a 89. 88 and 89 had dual split beams. And had the 88 to 93 or 94 flat grille. I think you have a 94

Unless it has been swapped. I have quads on my 97 so it could happen. Still a good looking truck

There's a few around...I saw a navy blue one on the way out of town this evening, unfortunately didn't get a picture. Looked pretty sharp though!
I think the 2wd(C3500) CCLB in '97, was a production of around 15,000. I'd figure prolly around that figure for 4x4 ones too. Mine is a 350 but it still hauls!

Where im from i wanna stick with 4×4. Ive been debating on the 350 or 454. My dads 4 door the white one has a 454. That jugs gas like a kid on pop. Hows the mpgs round a bout??

Must be 94 or older, the dash is definitely the old style.
