So im at the final stages of swapping to the 2003 2500hd front brake calipers. My truck is 2000 k2500 8600gvw 8 lug. I want to install the tie rods from the bottom. Found a thread on another site where someone has done this using aluminum billet proforged sleeves a es409r outer tie rod that still required some reaming of the knuckle to fit correctly but apparently worked. The problem is i don't know what inner tie rod was used. Whatever it was i'm assuming it had to be standard thread because the outer es409r is a standard thread, not metric. Going from the top down and reaming seems to put the tie rod geometry really close to my sway bar but if anyone has done it like this id really like to hear how it turned out. Please remember my truck is 2500 8 lug so its not the same as 1500. Thank you.
