need exhaust, but dont know what to get

hey fellas, i have a 93 ECSB 5.7 TBI. right now i have stock manifolds, stock Y-pipe and cat into a flowmaster 40 series dumped a foot past the cab. Its LOUD and its really deep sounding, but thats not what i want anymore. I want my truck to have that higher pitched raspy sound. dont get me wrong i dont want the cherry bomb or straight piped "crackle crackle pop pop" sound at all. i just want it to sound mean, and still be pretty loud.... any suggestions? thanks

flowmaster si/do muffler, as long as you can get will quiet it down, and raise the pitch. unfortunately you will never get a real high pitch as your driving a truck with a 350, not a honda civic.

I have a Magnaflow Cat and Magnaflow muffler on my truck it has a mellow sound listen to video below oh my truck is a 93 as well. My free flowing Cat made a big difference I say that because at that time I had a glasspack one in two out and it got to loud so that's when I put on a Magnaflow muffler to have a mellow sound.

that sounds almost the same as my truck, just quieter and less bark. also your engine dosent make as much noise

You could install a tailpipe. That will change the sound, make it meaner.
I always liked flow 40"s.

dynomax bullets have the sound i am going for, but it sounds like they pop and crackle on youtube, if i installed a resonator allong with the bullets would that take care of it?

with a stock y pipe and cat it will not crackle and pop, I have LT and a high flow cat and custom y pipe with a 18" Bullet and it barely crackles on decel and hard excel.
