The quote was for new manifolds on both sides, new mounting studs (several are currently broken) and new down pipe mounting bolts, studs and Oring gasket. The new manifold comes with mounting gaskets between head and manifold and are required to maintain warranty. Labor is the highest component of the quote at ~$1700 dollars. The replacement requires a good bit of disassembly in order to get to all of the mounting bolts. I could get the parts cheaper but no shop in the area would work on a RV and use customer provided parts.

Working on a class-A RV is not as easy as working on a pickup. The engine is much more encapsulated. A little like working on a van.
