i would not crank and block, cranking is horrible on the front end, especially if your going for lift, just my 2 cents

sincerely, a guy who cranked an wore out a brand new front end in 6 months

here is my old 1994 k2500 light duty with a 2 inch t bar crank and 2 inch blocks with 35's...rode like crap so i lowered it to a 1 inch crank with cheap oreileys add a leafs and kept the 35's on it. only rub was on the frame at full crank and rode like a caddillac. i actually gained mpg becuase it had 4.10 gears and used to be at somewhat high rpms on the highway before the tires.

Id say level for sure on a DD, lift kits are cool and all, but why put excess strain on a truck you want to use on a daily basis. I think a little crank and some 285's will look shweet!!!
