so i have a super clean 94-older cab and a rusted out but good guts 95-up cab .

what would be needed to swap stuff over ?

and or is it worth the try to do this swap ?

thanks a lot for any help and tips .

It's been covered quite a bit on this forum and all over the internet..

But to oversimplify the answer, you have to change pretty much everything, including the steering column support which is spot-welded to the firewall, and the passenger A-pillar grab handle bracket which is also spot-welded to the cab. Then there's the wiring differences between the old and new dash, the door wiring (if you have power windows/locks) differences, etc. IF you want to do it "right" it's a big job. And I'll tell you, I've seen a lot of them where people cut corners and do it halfass, and it's awful. Every time I see a truck for sale with an interior "update" gone wrong, I just pass the ad up..

thanks for the info and will use this to judge the level of work i wish to put in to this truck .
