Identify a GMC truck?

Airbags are pretty easy to change.

Oh i know, really isnt big deal at all, just 88-94 is literally a 30 second job.

2500/3500 pickups didn't get the airbag. Driver or passenger.

2500 burbs did though.

I thought it was a 3500 thing, good to know!

Besides the VIN, there will also be RPO Z88 listed, which is for "GMC conversion."

I owned a GMC once that you would swear was a Chevy. the previous owner changed the grill, all the badges, even put the big ugly "chevrolet" applique on the tailgate. according to the vin it WAS a GMC. I would not be surprised at all if that truck was a vin swapped vehicle.

So easy to change them back and forth the VIN is the only thing that will truly tell you the story. My black '94 C2500LD is a Chevy but there's not one Chevy logo anywhere on it - I zapped em all. Had a GMC grille but for a little while the truck belonged to someone else and he threw in a flush mount 31 bar billet so it's not even a GMC anymore. No brand at all. Steering wheel is a Grant w/billet button so no logo there, even.

Ha I was wondering if that was gonna bother anyone. Ill ship them too you as I take them off
