Well I was able to polish the wheels the other day at work but I did not spend to much time on them.

Yesterday was test fit day and it went well
But I still have a ton of work to do ...at least it looks like a truck

Got the wood bed done and the gas tank mocked up.

I made the radiator support and mocked that all up

Update the gas tank is done and it's starting to look like a truck. I found a upper rat hose that looks like it was made for it and I lowered the back 2" more it's looking better.
O and I got my door lettering done.

Well it was a slow go on the truck this last weekend but I got the lower radiator hose on and ran the Motor long enough to get hot and flushed the engine and got the timing set along with the idol. Plus I was able to get the tearing column installed and hooked up. The tilt column will be nice. Plus I mocked up the running boards and tacked them on as well.

Had some more time to play in the shop.
So I decided to re-work the bed and recess. The keg gas tank into the bed floor to lower it level with the side of the bed rails. Them I widen the rear fenders by 3 inches to give it that wide body look from the rear, so then I needed to age the new metal so it would blend in with the old stuff so I mixed up a spray bottle with salt, vinegar and hydrogen peroxide and it took like 2 or 3 hours to get it to look this way.

The next day was junk yard day and I picked up 6 York drive compressors for on bord air for all my truck that are bagged or will be bagged soon.
