Might also check that you're getting the right sized belt. Places like advance, autozone, oreillys, all had my belt number listed as a 1010K6, when in actuallity I needed a 1005K6(half inch shorter belt). When you first put belt on and haven't cranked it(meaning belt isn't broken-in), the tensioner should barely allow belt to go on. Then a quick sprint down the road and back will cause it to break-in, and it should be around the middle of the "safe zone" on tensioner housing.
