first of all scott I cant believe you've never tried wtf that's weird.

I got new tires the right before I got my license. The rest of the time I was with my parents who would yell at me for going 51 in a 50 :wtf: , I don't think they would liked a burnout...

surprise, az
My 96 would no problem with 35s and 3.42s, but the tbi in the yukon dont have any balls, ive gotten one tire to chirp once from a dead stop, it was the inside tire in a turn but thats the only way and thats with the brand new 285s, guess some people dont have enough balls to burn a set of $1000+ tires haha, but even with slick 265s i couldnt get it to break em loose

I have yet to look at my gearing but with a 5.7 350 tbi i'd expect some spinning.. not just a slow-ass poor excuse of a take off.....

I didn't use to spin them at all. Now it will chirp them from a stop, no brakestand or anything, just move from brake to gas. I also have more weight on the back end, though.

These make decent torque, but they still weigh quite a bit, and it also depends on how big your tires are as well as outside temps and your tire compounds. I'm expecting no problems once I do enough work to throw the higher psi pulley on.
