Well folks, it's official. I have a short in the HVAC controls of my 99 Suburban. The idea has been tossed around, but I thought nothing of it. Well, tonight proved it. My AC compressor stays engaged, button on or not. Also, I get more air flow through the vents with the fan control OFF than with it on LOW.
And another thing is that I have no lights on my HVAC, that is, until I go just a bit too fast on a dirt road and the whole darn truck shakes like it's about to implode. That's when the lights on my HVAC flicker, until I slow back down...

So, any ideas other than complete replacement?
