Horn honks when I turn the steering wheel.....WTF? I just unhooked for now but out of no where this starts up. Anyone have this issue before?

Yeah. I thought the guy riding my ass was honking at me so I kept slowing down! Then turned into my driveway with no one behind me and it did it again, then I felt really stupid. I can turn the wheel back and forth and the SOB honks everytime.

assuming loose wire somewhere that when it turns it rubs up against something?

The horn is grounded just by being bolted to the column. One wire goes to the horn for power. Hitting the horn completes the circuit. I'd check to see if that wire has a bare spot somewhere inside where it comes out of the column to the wheel.
