Well dang... maybe it might be alright.... let me crawl under the Tahoe tonight and see if its a SI/SO setup now..

If it is stock, it will be DI/SO, but an off road Y pipe will take care of that....

a y pipe is cheap and a shop, like Rod's in Union could put that in no problem fast and cheap.

Yes Rods is awesome..they do all my exhaust and brake work.

They built the exhaust on both my trucks, FWIW I paid 40 to have that muffler put on, a y would be like ~$20 and if you pay cash they don't charge tax

Ok I'll take the muffler... I'll give it a shot. My 01 Tahoe has a factory SI/SO 3" so we'll see how well it will work out...
