Hello from San Antonio Texas

Just bought my high school truck back from a friends father about 6 months ago and needing lots of work in both performance and paint/body work. Its a 1990 chevy k1500 z71. Truck runs but like crap. Been looking up troubleshooting issue and upgrades on the interwebs and saw this site a few times so figured i should join. Hopes are to get it better than what is was. Thanks.

In regard to "running like crap".. check plugs and wires, fuel pressure (pump could be on last legs) and every ground on the truck including especially battery ground and then battery positive. "Running like crap" can be corroded battery wires very easily. Welcome to the forum.
