I have a 92 C1500. I want to upgrade my headlights, corner lights, and parking lights. I found a kit for 94-98 trucks. But, I have seen others that say they work for 88-98, 91-98, etc. What is the compatibility with our headlights? Will anything with the newer grill which I believe is 94 and up not fit on my 92? Are the headlights different sizes? Hope this is the right section to ask this.

ok what grille year exactly do you have?

2 styles 88-93 or 94-98?

now headlights, and parklights from what I gather and have seen should all interchange. The difference is the grille you put them in, the 91-93 style had composite lights and brackets to fit the grille and bring out the parklights, my 88 did not since it had the quad glass lights. I had to make spacers because I'm using the 88-90 or so grille without composite lights, lmc sells those spacers as well. now 94-98 pretty sure they just bolt right in no factory spacers.

headlights just bolt in and should not matter what grille year or anything.

sidemarkers MUST match the grille year range 88-93 or 94-98

the 88-93's are not as wide and are smaller basically, the 94-98 are bigger.

I have a 92 Grille with the composite headlights. It isn't the "four eyes" style. So your saying the headlights and parking lights from a 94-98 will exchange, but I MUST get the corner lights from a 88-93 truck.

The corner lights MUST MATCH THE GRILL. No matter year the truck is.

exactly and the headlights and parklights SHOULD work without any issues.

I got some for like 94-98 or some they say 88-98 but for me and my sunken style I had to have spacers, yours should have them for parklights so you'd be fine.

Great! Thanks for the advise. Been looking to get rid of those dingy stock lights for some projector halos.

What color of Halo headlights are you looking for? I have some smoked ones, with a black carbon fiber look around here that I might wanna sell. Should fit all 88-98.
