my dads 800s tailgate wont open because the plastic handle broke and we need to put new bulbs is because the brake and back lights don't work now can any body tell me how I can get it open rep for help

via the boxside of the tailgate or completely remove the handle.

Pop the plastic cover off an reach for the cables. My buddies did it that's how I got his to open lol

yeah... that's how our Ford tailgate functioned... and any truck if you have it long enough
