I'll be upgrading my fuel pump for my 1996 k1500 L31 whipple supercharged build. Currently I have a Walbro 255 and a Walbro 450 in-tank pumps available to install for the build. Each pump will be able to reach 100 psi head pressure.
I'm currently running a 2001 whipple supercharger 0.9L kit that feeds extra fuel through two injectors off an addition fuel manifold block that attaches to the factory fuel lines. It looks as if this kit uses the stock regulator to regulate the 58 psi. Will these high performance pumps push past the regulators ability to by pass the excess flow?, causing a rich condition?
Thanks guys.
Blaine
