Factory Tweeter Speaker Size

1997 K1500 Chevy Silverado 3 door ext cab

Does anybody know what size tweeter I have in my front doors along with the 6 1/2 inch speakers?

I don't know, but it's pretty easy to pull out and see for yourself, good question though.

On audio sites that list a direct replacement, the tweeter is a 1" so I'd probably feel good assuming this is correct.

The tweets themselves have a special ring attachment, no aftermarket will be a direct replacement without fitting a new way of attaching. When I pulled Rewind's, they were 1.1" tweets with a 4mm wide mounting ring.
