EGR code 32

ok 92 350 TBI, SES light comes on after cruising steady throttle for about 3 to 4 minutes, or randomly under hard acceleration then stays on until the truck turns off. Scanned it and came up with EGR code 32 but the numb nuts with the scanner did not know what the issue was. So where do I start here and what would this issue affect?

more than likely if the egr valve has never been change you need to replace it
its behind the air breather next to the distributer

a very easy check is to pull off the vacuum line to the egr and hook up a long enough hose to the egr and suck on it to activate the valve, if its good you will see the bladder move, if its bad then you will hear a noise that sounds like your sucking threw a straw

the other things to look at would be the vacuum lines and the egr solenoid but i am betting that the valve itself is at fault
