So ive always liked the looks of the custom crystal clear headlights and park lamps, but have been slow to pulling the trigger on them since ive heard different things about them. Ive heard alot don't fit well, some leak, and some fog up quicker than factory. Heres two am looking at below one is tinted and the other is not, looking at the ones with tail lights too. These to me look more like upgraded factory verses fully custom. Looking to see what yall experience are with em, Any input opinions or pictures with them on truck would be great. Thanks, Mike

I got the cheapest combo of headlights and parklights on eBay for $65 shipped, and I am happy with them. I ran some silicone over the edges before putting them in, but they look and fit great! Only complaint is that the clips on the headlights aren't stainless and are rusting a bit, but you wouldn't notice unless you looked really closely.

I have been through a few sets of ebay headlights and all of them stuck out 1/2" to 3/4" past the grill so its kinda hit and miss with what you get on there. I have those style tails and they have been great so far. I ended up buying the DEPO brand oem style for the headlight and they fit great. CKresto.com sells a set of clear headlights that fit good too that are about that same price but dont come with the tail lights.

Ive been bouncing around with ebay lights again and just cant decide on them. It seems like glass lenses dont turn as easy as plastic and found a set that has glass lenses in the headlights. Does anyone know if that is better or worst than the plastic as far as fogging up or turning yellowish?

Glass will never yellow. My only issue with the glass headlights is the lack of glare shields on the lowbeams since I use HIDs. I had a friend with some of the glass headlights in his '97 and they looked and fit great, but he was using HIDs in them and the glare was just ridiculous.

If I had the time and money, I'd buy a set of glass headlights and then do a real HID projector retrofit behind them.
