I have a 1998 Chevrolet K1500. I was wondering what are the cause(s) for my DRL Light on the gauge cluster to not be on however my DRL lights do work? This is just a reference as to what the light looks like this is not my actual gauge cluster on my truck. I appreciate any help.

It is likely just a burnt out bulb in the cluster, which makes sense because that bulb is almost always on when the vehicle is running.

It is an easy fix, just pull the cluster out and replace with a new bulb. The bulbs are accessible from behind the cluster.

They are little cluster bulbs that simply twist in/out by hand.
