Dipstick length???

I’ve got a 95 k1500 burb with the 5.7 and cannot find a dipstick that’s the proper length. I ordered a replacement off Rockauto but it’s the wrong length (30”), bought one at my local parts pusher (32”) and it wasn’t right either. There are barely any gmt400s in the yards around me, and from what I saw when I went looking a few weeks ago, they’ve been picked clean. Any help would be appreciated!

I'll go measure the one in my Suburban in a little bit if you really want to know the length... The correct part is ACDelco 10190942, though. Amazon has them new for $15.

That’s what I was afraid of. The dipstick tube on my truck is itself longer than that, not counting what sticks into the block. Sounds like I’ll be replacing the tube and the dipstick this weekend. Thanks for your help!
