Figured I'd start a build thread to share my work with you guys. Long story short, The motor in my old Ford Ranger crapped out and it was time to buy something a little nicer to drive (more room and power) so I started looking into Fullsize trucks. I was really interested in the OBS trucks and looked at three ECSB's one of them being a 6.5L diesel and a few 4 door Tahoe's but they were out of my price range for something that was going to be a weekend toy. So one night I was on my way home from work and I notice the local used car lot in my town had a 2 door Yukon. So the next day I looked at it,test drove it and bought it.

Specs:
1995 Year model w/168,000 miles
5.7L TBI V8
4L60E Trans
NP241 T-case
10 bolt G80 rear w/3.73 gears
SLE Trim package
Z71 Suspension package

It came with some worn out 285/75/r16 AT's, Flowmaster exhaust w/ cat removed and a billet grill on the truck when I bought it.

The day I bought it back in April of 2011

The paint on my truck was faded and was flaking off on my truck so I decided to repaint it.

Didn't have access to a paint booth so I poured water on the floor to minimize dust being kicked up.

Thanks for the compliments guys. Im really pleased with the new paint job. I was going to paint it black but I figured charcoal would be something different.

Nice yukon, do those 285s rub at all? I want some for my 95 z71

Nope, no rubbing at all. I do believe the T bars are cranked a little.
