Dash light question

I just noticed that when I turn the key on, the light switch dash light comes on, is that normal or do I have a short? Never noticed until this morning and I've been driving this truck since new LOL.

Most vehicles that have it do come on with the key so you can find the light switch in the dark. If you have had the dash out/apart for any reason lately it may have wiggled the bulb and it started working as it should.

Thank you, that must have been what happened. I was doing some work and had the dash apart just a few weeks ago.
