convertors and tailpipes only ?

no mufflers, whos running this set up and hows it sound ? wondering what my vortec 454 would sound like.

I run this setup on my 98 with a 350. Have just the cats with the pipes dumped before the rear axle. Just did it to see what it was like but will be putting mufflers on sometime once I decide what I want. At idle sounds like crap, no real sound or rumble to it but when driving not to terrible, has the straight pipe crackle when on the gas.

It pops but can not be compared to a 350 at all. I had this setup on my ccsb with the 454 except it was dumped at the rear axle. I can't say I loved it but it didn't sound bad and wasn't ridiculously loud.
