Clicking seat?

Do you guys have any knowledge about front drivers seats that click when moving in a rocking motion? Like something is loose...
Like, if i am in the seat and kind of wiggle or rock back and forth the seat makes a clicking sound...

Car is 93 TBI k2500 with electric power. Pic for reference.

its just annoying, some positions are better than others (what she said).

Watching this. I am having the same issue with my new to me 1997 GMC K1500. I can't see where the movement is coming from and it is definitely annoying.

Manual or electric?

Wobbly Seat Rails?

I just installed a 95 bench seat and carpet into my 94. Bolted right in, no issues. However, once I sat down in it I felt it could wiggle back and forth, like a teeter, not front to back. I looked under and the sliding seat rails had some wiggle room. Is this a common issue? how can I mend this...

Loose Passenger's Seat

Every day when I go to work, I travel on a gravel road for about half a mile. Of course, I'm not going 55 down this gravel road, but about 25 mph. What's not mentioned in either is that on manual tracks...
Check to see that the 2 pins on the other end of the adjuster handle are getting right into the slotted holes on the inner 1/2 of the track.
Those pins will wear towards the end of the pins making them smaller than the holes.
How much crud has accumulated in the hols &/or on those pins? That'll prevent them from fully engaging.
The lever has a spring attached. Is it?

This is on electric powered seats.
Unfortunately neither of those posts seem to be about the same issue?
