CEL for Code 24

[Kamd90Chevy]

Hey guys, my 90 RCSB 5.7/700r4 intermittently throws the CEL and I finally got it to stay on long enough for me to check it and its code 24 Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) Short Circuit. Now Google lead me down a couple paths of things to check and so far all I can say is my dash works just fine and is only 1-ish mph off from Radar readings, I haven't found any wiring damage to the connector or trailing wires. So what am I missing?

I'm getting the same code in my 1990 k2500. Did you figure yours out?
