Cap and rotor

Can you put a rotor on wrong? My truck hesitates on starting after replacement

I don't know any way you could do it wrong. May have a plug wire out of place or something.

Nope ypu can not unless you hammer it on.... they are keyed and only fit on one way..

I had a rotor that wasn't molded correctly and wouldn't fit on the shaft all the way, leaving it to wear into the cap. So... It is possible the rotor may be keyed wrong, but I doubt that one.
